Government & Our Water

Brought to you by WMFilter.com

I know we do not want the government to intervene into everything that we do or say but they're doing one right thing for the people in America. On September 23, 2013, the Obama Administration along with two Supreme Court decided to restore protections to our streams and wetlands under the Clean Water Act (CWA). Congress actually passed the Clean Water Act over 40 years ago to protect all the nation's waters, no matter small or large waterways. Our waterways are essential to every one of us because we rely on water to live. We drink it, cook with it and bathe in it. No matter how you see it, it will affect our health in one way or another.  Under the CWA, this will help protect and restore rivers, streams and wetlands. Another organization that supports the resurrection of this act is the American Rivers. This organization has more than 200,000 members, supporters and volunteers. They have offices locate all over the country to help advocate the importance of clean water.
