Drinking Filtered Water

The number one benefit of drinking filtered water is to stay healthy, closely followed by number two which is to stay cool. Sweat is the body’s way of controlling temperature and to sweat properly plenty of water is needed. Another benefit is that drinking filtered water before, during and after exercise helps replace fluids lost through sweating and reduces the risk and severity of injuries. It also speeds recovery time. Drinking water boosts energy and increases alertness so it is a good idea to re-hydrate several times a day.

Drinking filtered water helps control your weight, as water aids digestion and helps provide the energy needed for exercise. Also, researchers in California have shown that those who drink more than five glasses of water a day are less likely to die from heart attack or heart disease than those who drink less than two glasses a day.
